VLT Play Up at Hollywood Gaming

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Video lottery terminal play was at its second-highest level of the past six months at Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course in February as nearly $102 million was wagered at the racino.

The month’s total – $101,897,889 – was ahead of January’s tally of $95.67 million, as well as the February 2018 mark of$ 92.59 million, according to the Ohio Lottery Commission’s monthly report.

Gamblers at the Austintown racino took home $90.3 million in February, ahead of the previous month’s $84.84 million and February 2018’s $81.99 million. Net winnings at Hollywood Gaming – credits played minus credits won and promotional credits – stood at $10.16 million last month.

The Ohio Lottery Commission’s take was $3.4 million from the racino. Statewide, VLT plays totaled $917.69 million with players winning $818.77 million.

Hollywood Gaming ranked fifth among Ohio’s seven casinos with video lottery terminals for total credits played in February. Taking the top spot was Hard Rock Rocksino in Northfield with $22.56 million wagered.
