Walker Named Chief Audit Exec at Chemical Bank
Chemical Bank, a subsidiary of Chemical Financial Corp., has named Daniel Walker as its chief audit executive. Walker will be responsible for leading the audit department. He will also lead the development and implementation of a risk-based audit plan for evaluating and assessing the operational, financial and compliance controls and processes of the bank. Before joining Chemical Bank, Walker served as vice president, assurance leader at American Express in New York. Walker is a CPA and a certified internal auditor. He holds an MBA from Columbia University in New York and a B.A. from University of California in Los Angeles.
