Weekend Entertainment | Clear the Streets for The Salem Super Cruise

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Salem Super Cruise – one of the most unique annual events in the Mahoning Valley – returns today and runs through Sunday. The heart and soul of this celebration of muscle car culture is the nightly cruises through the streets of downtown Salem. It’s a sight to behold. The event also includes car shows, a tractor pull, live music and more. Learn more HERE.

The Mahoning Valley Scrappers will host the West Virginia Black Bears in a weekend series at Eastwood Field in Niles. Game time is 7:05 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2:05 p.m. Sunday. Buy tickets HERE.

BAT: A Meat Loaf Celebration will come to The Robins Theatre in Warren at 8 p.m. Friday. The tribute show recreates a concert by the late Meat Loaf, who died in January. Meat Loaf’s operatic story-songs, including “I’d Do Anything for Love” and “Paradise by the Dashboard Light,” still pack a punch. The concert features The Neverland Express, which includes alumni of Meat Loaf’s band, and “American Idol” winner Caleb Johnson. For tickets, click HERE.

The River Rock at the Amp concert series goes country this Saturday, with a twin bill of Ultimate Aldean and the Toby Keith Tribute. Northern Whiskey will open the show at Warren Community Amphitheatre at 5:30 p.m. Admission is $10 (free for children and under with adult).
