Weekend Entertainment | Next Thing You Know, Jordan Davis Is a Star
Country music star Jordan Davis sums up the entire life of just about everyone in his song “Next Thing You Know,” and the video for the song illustrates it beautifully. Check it out HERE.
It’s a circle of life thing, a story that proves the adage, “One thing leads to another.” Maybe you didn’t see the next thing coming but, in retrospect, it was hardly a surprise.
Davis will headline a 7 p.m. concert at Covelli Centre on Friday, with opening acts Mitchell Tenpenny and Ashley Cooke. It’s pretty much sold out, but tickets can be found HERE.
The Louisiana-born Davis has his feet firmly on the ground and gets to the root of things in a way that audiences can relate.
For further proof, see “Buy Dirt,” his 2021 duet with Luke Bryan. Or his current single, “Good News Sold.” Media types have always known that good news doesn’t sell papers. Social media has delivered that truism – and its side effects – to everyone else.
Impractical Jokers, the cringe humor purveyors with the uber-popular television series, will be back in town Saturday.
The trio of Brian Quinn (Q), James Murray (Murr) and Sal Vulcano will bring their hidden camera comedy show antics to the stage at 7 p.m. at Covelli Centre. Tickets are scarce. Click HERE.
There are two other noteworthy events this weekend.
Record Store Day is Saturday. To learn more, click HERE.
And the Warren Philharmonic Orchestra will give its season-ending concert Sunday afternoon. It will be the farewell performance of longtime conductor and music director Susan Davenny Wyner. Click HERE.
