Entertainment Outlook | Pinball Wizards, Youngstown Flea and a Jazz Great

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The second annual PinBrew, a pinball and local craft beer festival, is taking place tonight through Saturday at the Metroplex Expo Center on Belmont Avenue in Liberty. 

The family-friendly event features over 100 pinball machines and arcade games that are free to play with paid entry as well as local food vendors and offerings from six local breweries. Tickets are available online at PinBrewFest.com or at the door. 

Puffs, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic” enters its final weekend at Youngstown State University Theatre, with performances at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday, in Ford Theater, lower level of Bliss Hall. Jim Steranko has been at the forefront of pop culture through his long career as a comic book artist, author and film consultant. He will appear at the Butler Institute of American Art at 6 p.m. Saturday, to greet fans who are there to see his exhibition of superhero paintings. Tickets are $50; click HERE.

Youngstown Flea is back. The monthly market for unique goods and art will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at its location at 365 E. Boardman St., downtown.

The Youngstown Symphony Orchestra will present a concert of brass and percussion in the Ford Family Recital Hall at the DeYor Performing Arts Center at 4 p.m. Sunday. 

The program will feature Fanfare for the Common Man by Copland, Symphony for Brass and Timpani by Haufrecht, Irish Tune from County Derry by Grainger and Allen, and more.

Jazz great Harold Danko will give a solo recital at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Youngstown State University’s Kilacawley Center. Admission is free.

It will be another rocking Wednesday in Warren on April 13. Jason Bonham, the son of late Led Zeppelin drummer Jon Bonham, will bring his Led Zeppelin Experience show to Packard Music Hall at 8 p.m. For tickets, click HERE.
