Weekend Outlook: Cheap Trick, Three Dog Night and Fireworks
Don’t forget to turn your clocks back one hour Saturday night, because Daylight Savings Time is returning.
You can turn back the hands of time Sunday night as well.
Three Dog Night, which had an impressive string of radio hits in the ’70s, will be at Packard Music Hall in Warren that evening. Joy to the world! The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. For tickets, click HERE.
Here’s a look at some other entertainment highlights this weekend and beyond:
November rain is definitely not what you want at a fireworks show. But the annual November Rain fireworks festival is Saturday in the parking lot of Eastwood Mall. The free fun begins with a pre-show performance by Chris Higbee at 6 p.m. Fireworks begin at 9 p.m.
If you are a fan of a rousing brass band, you could do worse than Dallas Brass. The six-piece ensemble does pop and American standards with flair. You can catch them at Packard hall at 7 p.m. Monday. Get tickets HERE
Cheap Trick, the rock hall of famers known for “Surrender,” “Dream Police” and “I Want You to Want Me,” will play Packard hall on Wednesday, Nov. 10, at 7:30 p.m. Get tickets here
Two fun musical comedies are also among the weekend’s best bets.
Youngstown State University Theatre’s production of “Little Shop of Horrors” will continue, with performances at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday. For a review and more information, click HERE
And Easy Street will return to live performance after a two-year hiatus with “Nunsense.” Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, at Ford Family Recital Hall, downtown. For information, click HERE
