Weekend Outlook | Monster Trucks and Some Broadway Flair
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — It’s dirt season at Covelli Centre. The floor of the Youngstown arena has been covered with tons of it for the return of the Toughest Monster Truck this weekend.

Fans of the giant machines can watch them compete in jumps and freestyle stunts.
The dirt will remain in place after the last truck leaves, because the Professional Bull Riders tour will be at Covelli for two shows next weekend, Feb. 11-12.
The Youngstown Symphony Orchestra will be in action Friday evening at Powers Auditorium with guest conductor Carl Topilow, the long-time leader of The Cleveland Pops, at the podium. The program of Broadway show tunes will feature guest vocalist Connor Bogart. For information, click HERE.
Next week, Cirque International, a dazzling display of Cirque du Soleil-style acrobats and performers, will come to Powers. The show is Feb. 10 at 7:30 p.m.
On Sunday, Feb. 6, Artists of the Rust Belt will present their annual winter art market from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at B&O Station Banquet Hall, 530 Mahoning Ave. Admission is $1. The show will feature the art, photography, paintings, décor, soaps, leather work and many other items made by regional artists and artisans.
