Westminster Speaker Series to Feature Praxis Holding, InCity Farms CEO
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – Glenn Ford, CEO of Praxis Holding Co. and InCity Farms, will discuss global business topics during the Westminster College Analyst Program Speaker Series at 7 p.m. Tuesday via Zoom.
Ford, who has experience in both the agricultural and food industries, will talk about agriculture, entrepreneurship, food and beverage industries, supply chain issues and sustainability. He has developed about $250 million of indoor aquaponic farms – a system of growing plants in water for use in cultivating aquatic organisms.
Ford previously was vice president of new concept development at Pepsi and vice president of the industrial division at American Hospital Supply. He also served in investment banking roles at Indiana National Bank. He earned his undergraduate degree in economics and management from Eastern Illinois University and his Master of Business Administration degree from Northwestern University.
The Analyst Program Speaker Series hosts leaders from industry, public service and academia for virtual discussions about topics aligned with student case studies offered by the Analyst Program.
Ben Nelson, senior vice president and global group credit officer for ESG at Moody’s Investors Service and a member of the Westminster College Board of Trustees, will facilitate the discussion after Ford’s presentation.
