Westminster to Honor Emmy-Winning Alumnus
Tim Kaiser, an Emmy Award-wining producer of hit TV sitcoms and a 1985 graduate of Westminster College, will receive an honorary doctor of letters degree at the college’s 165th commencement ceremony May 11. Kaiser’s work on “Seinfeld” and “Will & Grace” earned him two Emmys as well as 10 Emmy nominations.
He is the executive producer of “2 Broke Girls” and the current reboot of “Will & Grace.” Kaiser is a native of Oakmont, Pa., and divides his time between Pittsburgh and Los Angeles. “We are proud to recognize Mr. Kaiser’s creative vision and talent by awarding this honorary degree,” says Kathy Brittain, the president of Westminster College. “He has represented Westminster well through his years of award-winning work and his life of integrity and leadership. He continues to serve as an eloquent proponent of the value of a liberal arts education.”
