To minimize cost, Lawless recommends getting rid of as much clutter as possible before the scheduled move.

“Don’t move things that you haven’t used in the past six months,” he says. “Everything takes up space on the truck, which can add up to extra trips and extra time, and time is money.”

Lawless also reveals the two rooms where clients often forget to pack properly.
