Wheatland Tube Improves Operations with High Tech Warehouse
WARREN, Ohio – Wheatland Tube’s $50 million investment has resulted in its newest warehouse, but it is more than an ordinary warehouse.
All of the operation’s mechanics, movements, timing and internal logistics in the building are choreographed to precision using a fully automated platform that points to the future of manufacturing in the Mahoning Valley.
“The objective has always been to have under one roof automated storage and retrieval,” says Ned Feeney, general manager of operations at Wheatland Tube.
