Whiskey Myers Coming to The Amp in July
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Whiskey Myers will come to the Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre on July 9, with opening acts Whitey Morgan and the 78s and Reid Haughton.
Tickets range from $99.50 to $39.50 (plus applicable fees) and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, March 1, at the Covelli Centre box office and at ticketmaster.com.
A presale will take place from 10 a.m. to midnight Thursday; use the password STONE.
The genre-bending Whiskey Myers’ latest album, “Tornillo,” produced the Americana hit “John Wayne.”
The band has appeared on the hit Paramount series “Yellowstone.”
USA Today has described its sound as “a riff-heavy blend of Southern rock and gritty country that has earned comparisons to the Allman Brothers Band and Led Zeppelin,” with Rolling Stone calling it “the seminal combination of twang and crunchy rock ’n’ roll guitars that hits a perfect sweet spot.”
