Whysong Joins First Commonwealth Corporate Banking Team

INDIANA, Pa. − Katie Whysong, a 16-year banking professional, has joined First Commonwealth Bank’s corporate banking staff in its Pennsylvania region that includes Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Centre, Clearfield, Clinton, Elk, Jefferson, Indiana, Lycoming, Northumberland, Somerset, Union and Westmoreland counties.

Whysong has spent the past 11 years in corporate banking and has extensive experience in the Bedford and Blair county communities. In her role, she will focus on middle-market commercial and industrial lending relationships. Before joining First Commonwealth, Whysong served as a commercial banking officer at CNB Bank. She also held positions at First Commonwealth (2013-2016) and AmeriServ Financial (2008-2013). She will be based out of the Meadows Office in Altoona.

Whysong is actively involved in her community. She serves as treasurer for Friends of Shawnee & Blue Knob State Parks and the Chestnut Ridge Baseball League, is a mentor for the Young Entrepreneurs Academy, and is involved in the Healing Patch and Blair County Youth organizations.

Whysong is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in finance.
