Williams Hosts ‘Mane Event’ Saturday at Common Goods Studio

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Carmella Williams, owner of the Carmella Marie line of hair and beauty products, will host the seventh annual Let’s Talk Hair: The Mane Event on Saturday at Common Goods Studio.

The Mane Event, which runs from 2 to 7 p.m. at Common Goods, 2000 Canfield Road, will feature food by Dalia’s Caribbean Kitchen and Common Goods Studio, live music and vendors. 

Speakers at the event include include Dr. Kellie Kirksey, Dr. Tonia L. Farmer, Minister Jamie Jacobs, Ms. Nikita Jones, Williams’ personal natural hair stylist, Classy Brown.

“Come out for a day of self-care while meeting new friends, finding new confidence in your hair and gaining new insight in how to care for naturally wavy, curly and coily hair,” Williams said in a statement.

Admission and parking for the outdoor event is free, but pre-registration is encouraged at CarmellaMarie.com.
