Willoughby Joins Farmers Bank Private Banking Team

CANFIELD, Ohio – Chris Willoughby has joined the Farmers National Bank Private Banking Team in Canton as vice president, senior relationship manager.

Willoughby is a certified wealth strategist with decades of experience. He works with families and individuals including retirees, business owners, executives, physicians and professionals to guide them through the complex wealth management process.

“I try to ask the right questions to understand my clients’ objectives and know what’s important to them,” Willoughby says. “I strive to help them define their goals and then develop strategies and solutions for their unique situation.”

Willoughby studied business at The Ohio State University. He’s been in the banking industry since 1985 in various lending and private banking roles.

“Private banking clients need an expert who can create and develop a total wealth plan while making sure they don’t miss any opportunities along the way,” says Mark Wenick, senior executive vice president, chief wealth management officer at Farmers. “Chris is the perfect person to do just that.”

Outside of work, Willoughby is involved in many philanthropic and volunteer efforts. He has helped The Boys & Girls Club of Massillon and serves on the board of directors for the YMCA of Western Stark County.
