Window World Reports 31% Increase in Sales
BOARDMAN, Ohio – For Window World and the Moran family, 2021 was a year of growth, honors and giving back. This year promises more growth as industrywide challenges are tackled.
Year-to-year sales of windows, doors and siding increased by 31% in 2021, the company reports.
“We’re one of the fortunate businesses that is positively affected by the pandemic,” says co-owner Pat Moran. “And I like to believe our reputation and value in the marketplace is a contributing factor.”
Window World CEO Tammy Whitworth was the keynote speaker at the 2021 Youngstown/Warren Regional Athena Awards. In September, franchise co-owner Fred Moran was recognized by the chamber as its Small Business Professional of the Year.
Fred and his wife, Lucy, and Pat and his wife, Angie, contributed $250,000 to support Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley’s emergency department expansion project in 2021.
“This was the highlight of our year,” Fred says.
In September, the Moran family raised $38,000 for Beatitude House through a golf outing at the Lake Club.
If January sales indicate what is to come in 2022, it will be another year of growth for the Moran family’s seven Window World locations.
The family acquired a 20,000- square-foot building on Campbell’s Run Road in Pittsburgh and looks forward to a grand opening this spring.
The company is seeking to hire experienced installers and is offering incentives.
“We are getting super aggressive with compensation and incentives to attract the people we need,” says Pat Moran
The family is working on streamlining processes and improving the customer experience with Pat Moran’s children, Patrick Moran and Mandi Fluck, at the helm.
“We started using the entrepreneurial operating system companywide, and it is moving the needle in regard to vision, accountability and getting things done,” says Patrick.
