‘Wine’ about Winter in Lisbon on Feb. 26

LISBON, Ohio — The Lisbon Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual Wine about Winter tasting event Feb. 26 in historic Lisbon.

Local businesses and restaurants along Gazebo Square will host eight wine tasting stations serving Ohio wines. Participants can enjoy snacks and non-alcoholic beverages as well. No wine may be consumed outside of the location it’s being served.

Tickets are $10 and go on sale Jan. 1, 2022. They can be purchased online at Eventbrite, by calling the chamber at 330 424 1803 or at its office at 120 N. Market St. The chamber encourages residents to purchase tickets early to take home one of 25 souvenir wine glasses donated by Alterations by the Clothing Surgeon.

Participants will have a chance to win prizes at a Chinese auction. They can also test their luck at the annual Wine Pull by purchasing a ticket, then pulling a wine cork and winning the bottle with the corresponding number. Each Wine Pull participant is guaranteed a bottle of wine.

While the event is limited to eight wine tasting stations, local businesses can still register to host a snack stop or non-alcoholic drink stop. Click HERE to register your business.
