Knockin Noggin Cidery & Winery
After opening two successful wineries (Nova Cellars Winery and Fractured Grape Wine Cellars, owner Walter Novosel decided to open a winery that also sells hard cider. Knockin Noggin Cidery & Winery gets its name from Sir Issac Newton, who grasped the concept of gravity after being knocked on his noggin by an apple while sitting under an apple tree.
Knockin Noggin cider is made by fermenting juice from a gluten-free apple base purchased from distributors in Lake Erie and beyond.
