Wingstop Franchisee Buys Boardman Site for $795,000
BOARDMAN, Ohio – A franchisee of chicken wing chain Wingstop has purchased a plaza on U.S. Route 224 for $795,000.
According to paperwork filed with the Mahoning County Auditor’s Office, DV & GR Holdings LLC closed on 48 Boardman-Poland Road on Sept 28. The space sits across the road from Southern Park Mall and previously housed a Payless shoe store and FedEx.
DV & GR Holdings was incorporated in July, but several stories dating back to 2014 name Gaurav Aggarwal – who lists his position on LinkedIn as managing partner of DV &GR – as a Wingstop franchisee.
In addition, listings on JobSearcher.com for the holding company are all hiring for positions at Wingstop across northern Ohio, including Cleveland, Parma, Lakewood, Akron, Toledo, Columbus, Dayton and Cincinnati.
The site also has two postings for job at the upcoming Boardman store: an assistant manager and a shift leader.
Contact information for the buyer was not readily available, with the only phone number found through a Google search leading to a Wingstop restaurant in the Cleveland suburb of Brooklyn. The property was listed by Platz Realty Group.
At the time of this post, requests for any additional information from Wingstop haven’t been returned.
