Winter Wine Experience Moves to Mr. Anthony’s

BOARDMAN, Ohio – The Winter Wine Experience is moving to Mr. Anthony’s this year.

The annual event, presented by the Ohio Wine Producers Association, will take place from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 9.

The event took place at Stambaugh Auditorium in previous years.

Tickets are $45 ($55 for VIP) and can be purchased in advance at ohiowines.org. A limited number of tickets will also be available at the door; VIP tickets must be purchased in advance. VIP holders will be able to sample extra wines and light snacks in a reserved area that will also feature gold medal wines from the Ohio Wine Competition.

All attendees will receive a wine and food pairing wheel, 15 wine samples, a souvenir wine glass and a free wine tote bag.

The event will also include wine-themed giveaways, a silent auction and a “Does Your Nose Know?” sensory experience.

Guests can also shop at booths from approximately 20 unique vendors offering jewelry and other items, and purchase wine by the bottle to go.

The event will include a selection of cheeses, meats and crackers to complement the wine. For the first time, ciders will be poured at this year’s event. Steve Madewell will provide musical entertainment.

Mr. Anthony’s banquet hall is at 7440 South Ave.
