Woodland Cellars, Too Hot Mamas Team Up on Menu Items

HUBBARD, Ohio – Woodland Cellars Winery and Meadery and Too Hot Mamas have teamed up to create an enhanced dining and winery experience.

The collaboration between the two Hubbard businesses will launch Feb. 1 and will feature Too Hot Mammas’ jams, peppers and sauces paired with Woodland wines and mead and as the featured ingredient in prepared foods served by the kitchen.

Woodland Cellars is located at 212 N. Main St.

The two businesses teamed up in the past at holiday events and small business Saturdays.

Dani and Nate Wilson own Woodland Cellars and Audra and Tom Horton own Too Hot Mamas.

Guests at Woodland Cellars will soon be able to enjoy new, “out of the box” menu items, plus wine, mead and cider infused with Too Hot Mamas products, said Dani Wilson.

“Incorporating Too Hot Mama’s homemade products, such as our peppers, toppers and secret sauces, will offer a new level of dining not found anywhere else in northeastern Ohio,” said Audra Horton.

Too Hot Mamas will introduce homemade hummus, flatbreads, salsa and other new items to the menu as part of the collaboration. A new line that merges products from both companies, called Too Hot Cellars, will also be introduced.

In another new development, Woodland Cellars will open KT’s Coffee Talk, a coffee shop adjacent to the winery, in February. It will feature a variety of homemade desserts made by AB Sweets.

Woodland Cellars is also available for party rentals. It can accommodate 40-60 guests, and up to 75 if the weather permits. For information, call 330 269 5102.

Woodland Cellars, which opened in 2018, is completing renovations to its Woodland Estates property on Logan Way in Liberty Township.

The 27-acre wooded property, which has two mansions, will also have an event center that will also be available for rentals.

Too Hot Mamas, 212 N. Main St., was launched in 2016 as the first woman-owned pepper cannery in the region. Its products are available in 30 grocery stores in Ohio and Pennsylvania.

The company also offers appetizer catering services that included antipasto, charcuterie, fruit and veggie trays.
