World Series of Wine Fundraiser Set for Oct. 20
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Children’s Mental Health Circle of Friends Foundation will host The World Series of Wine Fundraiser on Oct. 20. The event will benefit children’s mental health programs of Alta Behavioral Health Care.
This is the First Annual World Series of Wine and is sponsored by Donald P. Pipino. Fully 100% of all funds raised will go directly to provide prevention, education and treatment services for children “at risk” for, or suffering from, behavioral and emotional disorders, according to Greg Cvetkovic, Foundation president.
Local wine makers will submit their homemade wines to be judged by those attending the event as to who makes the best wine in the valley. A panel of expert wine judges will take the top six wines, voted by the audience, and select their choice for first, second and third places. The first-place winner will receive $1,000.
In addition to homemade wines, complimentary commercial wines will be available for sampling. Dinner will be provided throughout the evening.
Sponsorship packages are available. Individual ticket pricing is $75 per person. Space is limited to 250 guests.
The event will be held at The Lake Club in Poland beginning at 6 p.m. More information and tickets are available by calling Katelyn McQuiston at 330 793 2487.
