WRTA Begins Search to Replace Executive Director

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- The longtime executive director of the Western Reserve Transit Authority, James Ferraro, has retired and a nationwide search has begun to fill his position. Ferrraro, executive director since 1984, had been working since 2012 on a series on one-year renewable contracts. He had expressed his intention to retire, but agreed to stay on through the campaign for WRTA’s sales tax renewal issue, which passed in November.
