WRTA Holiday Bus Debuts Today

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — The WRTA Holiday Bus debuts today at 9:30 a.m. at the Boardman branch of the Public Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County.

For the second year, WRTA is getting into the holiday spirit with its Holiday Bus, decorated inside and out with the colors and sights of the season. Those attending its debut this morning will have a chance to meet a special passenger – Santa Claus.

Children from Alta Head Start can board the bus and visit with Santa, who will be seated on his throne along the back row of seats. They will receive gifts courtesy of the Library and WRTA.

The Holiday Bus will travel all WRTA fixed routes at least once between Nov. 27 and Christmas Eve day, and will be free for all passengers. Its final appearance is set for the annual First Night in downtown Youngstown on New Year’s Eve.

Holiday Bus is sponsored by First National Bank and WKBN-TV.
