WRTA Offers Free Rides for Early Voters and on Election Day

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Western Reserve Transit Authority is available to help voters get to the polls for both early voting and on Election.

Through the end of the year, all WRTA bus rides are free.

For early voters in Mahoning County, the 7-Glenwood route makes hourly stops at the Mahoning County Board of Elections on Oak Hill Avenue. And for those in Trumbull County, the 28-Warren Express route stops hourly at the intersection of U.S. Route 422 and Central Parkway on the same block as the Trumbull Board of Elections.

On Election Day, Nov. 3, many polling places in Mahoning County and the city of Warren are along WRTA fixed routes. A full map is available HERE, while riders can also use the agency’s Online Trip Planner by entering the address of their polling place.

WRTA’s ADA-All Access and Countywide services will also be available for those who are unable to use fixed route buses or whose polling places are not along routes. Advanced reservations are required to use the services.
