WRTA Seeks Nominations for Holiday Lights Campaign

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Western Reserve Transit Authority will once again put the spotlight on organizations that light up the Mahoning Valley.

WRTA is seeking nominations for its Holiday Lights campaign. Twelve local organizations will be chosen from the nominees and will be honored at an event Nov. 15. The event will also be streamed on Facebook Live. 

The organizations will be featured on WRTA’s television ads and social media pages, as well as signs on WRTA buses and the digital sign above Federal Station downtown. One organization, chosen by a drawing at the event, will also receive a yearlong social media campaign.

Nonprofit organizations, public agencies and private companies that include charitable giving, volunteering and other good works as part of their culture are eligible for nomination.

The nomination form can be completed HERE. Nominations will be accepted until 5 p.m. Oct. 20. Winners will be announced and contacted Oct. 27.
