YBI, Brite Energy Seek Participants for Focus Group

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Youngstown Business Incubator, Brite Energy Innovators and the Appalachian Sustainable Products Network are inviting construction, engineering and design practitioners to participate in a focus group.

The focus group will ​​provide input as part of an initiative to grow and support the sustainable building industry in the Upper Appalachian region.

The Appalachian Sustainable Products Network aims to equip the Upper Appalachian region to meet increasing residential and commercial sector demand for the products and materials used to construct, renovate, maintain and operate healthy, energy-efficient buildings and infrastructure, and connect buildings to a cleaner grid.

The ASPN is funded by the Appalachian Regional Commission’s Appalachian Initiative for Stronger Economies, with match funding support from the Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation.

Participants in the focus group, which will meet virtually at 2 p.m. May 13, will learn more about the ASPN. Participants will be invited to share where they see needs and opportunities for building a strong, sustainable building industry and help create solutions to meet those needs. Register HERE.
