YBI Launches Additive Manufacturing Training Courses
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Youngstown Business Incubator has launched a training program to bring additive manufacturing skills to the workforce of Ohio’s Appalachian counties.
The initial group of courses – free to students and individuals employed in one of Ohio’s 32 Appalachian counties, including Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana – are Additive 101, Advanced Materials, Prototyping & Reverse Engineering, AM for Tooling Applications and AM for Metal Casting.
Each daylong course will be held at least twice, beginning Aug. 23 with Advanced Materials.
Registration for each course in the Appalachian Education & Workforce Training can be found at the YBI’s Eventbrite page here. For those who are not students or do not work for a company in the Appalachian region, courses are $300 each.
