YBI Sharks Recommend Mentorship
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Ellie Platt, owner and president of Platt Insurance, is one of the sharks for this year’s Youngstown Business Incubator Shark Tank business pitch competition – an opportunity to showcase entrepreneurship and innovation while promoting economic development across the Mahoning Valley and northeastern Ohio.
This year’s event is scheduled for 5 p.m. Oct. 19 at Mr. Anthony’s Banquet Center.
“Mentorship is huge,” Platt says. “You’re going to make mistakes, and that’s why you need a YBI and groups like this to come alongside of you as you are starting a business.”
