YBI Sharks Seeking Substance

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Danny Catullo, vice president of commerce for PPX Hospitality Brands, is one of the sharks for this year’s Youngstown Business Incubator Shark Tank business pitch competition – an opportunity to showcase entrepreneurship and innovation while promoting economic development across the Mahoning Valley and northeastern Ohio.

This year’s event is scheduled for 5 p.m. Oct. 19 at Mr. Anthony’s Banquet Center.

“Just because you have a great speaking voice; just because you could be able to present well on camera in front of a big audience doesn’t necessarily mean you have the best idea,” Catullo says. “I’m going to be looking for those that are just talking and not actually giving us that substance that we want.”
