YCSD to Hold Four Days of Remote Instruction

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — The Youngstown City School District will hold classes remotely January 11 through January 14. Students will return to in-person learning on the 18th, as Monday the 17th is a school holiday in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. day.

The YCSD school board meeting will still be held Tuesday, January 18 and all staff scheduled for CPI professional development in person on the 12th will still meet in person.

Student should plan to take their Chromebooks home on Monday, January 10. YCSD will provide two days worth of breakfast and lunch for students to take home and families will also receive two days of PEBT payments for missed school meals.

Choffin Career and Technical Center will operate as usual.
