Youngstown Jewish Federation Gets Grant for SwimSafe Program

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Youngstown Area Jewish Federation announced Thursday that it has received a $5,000 grant from The Kennedy Family Fund for its SwimSafe 500 program.

The Kennedy Family Fund is a component fund of the Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley.

The SwimSafe 500 program is administered by the Jewish Community Center of Youngstown, a Youngstown Area Jewish Federation agency. The program provides free swim safety lessons to children who receive free or reduced school meals.
