Youngstown Blue Coats Expands Storage Space Due to Increased Need
Youngstown Blue Coats has expanded their storage space to hold more donated items such as coats, boots, blankets, sleeping bags, and tents they provide to the homeless population as far as Pittsburgh.
“The need just grows and grows and the organization just keeps growing and I know it’s because the need is there, so as long as we can continue to serve people, that’s what we’re going to do,” says Patty Summers, president and CEO of Youngstown Blue Coats.
Summers says the organization plans to expand their service area this year to reach more of the homeless population.
