Youngstown City School District Launches Podcast

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Youngstown City School District has launched its first podcast, “Belly-Left Leadership,” hosted by YCSD Superintendent Jeremy Batchelor. 

The podcast is recorded at Choffin Career & Technical Center and produced by Choffin high school students.

“The ‘Belly-Left Leadership’ podcast is another way the district is staying connected to our families by informing them about the latest at the district and getting to know our educators and scholars personally,” Batchelor said. “We’ll also speak with local leaders about their leadership philosophy and how their organizations impact change in the Valley.”

The podcast, whose name comes from a football play, belly-left, will be posted monthly and is available on Choffin Broadcasting’s YouTube channel. 

The premier episode includes guests Michael Saville, Choffin director, and Kelly Weeks, Volney Rogers Elementary principal.
