YSU Foundation Reports Staff Changes, New Hire

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio- The YSU Foundation, the nonprofit fundraising arm of Youngstown State University, this week announced two staff position changes and welcomed a new team member.

David Baker was the previous annual giving coordinator and will now serve as the prospect researcher. Baker is a YSU alumnus who has been with the foundation six years. In his new role, he uses research, analytics and data analysis to discover donor prospects.

Angela Stana is now the annual giving coordinator. She is responsible for developing, implementing and managing effective fundraising strategies. Stana also maintains the foundation’s social media channels. She previously was the database and social media administrator. She graduated from YSU and has worked at the foundation four years.

Erik Engartner joins the staff as the gift processing coordinator and human resources assistant. In his position, he ensures financial contributions are processed timely, and is responsible for keeping the database current and accurate. He also assists the vice president with human resource tasks. Engartner received his undergraduate degree from YSU and a master’s degree from The Ohio State University.
