Youngstown Health Improvement Zones to Develop Individual Goals

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Through the Ohio Department of Health, $450,000 has been granted to the Youngstown City Health District to establish four Youngstown Health Improvement Zones.

Each zone (North, South, East, and West) will be assigned a Community Health Advocate who will engage the community within their zone and help identify health-related issues.

Once the issues have been identified, members of the community will work together with the Youngstown Health Improvement Zones to develop goals to create a healthier community.
