Youngstown Live Launches New Tourism Website

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Mahoning County Convention & Visitors Bureau recently launched its new and redesigned website at YoungstownLive.com.

The revamped site offers a comprehensive calendar of Mahoning Valley events, advanced filtering capabilities, an easier interface for downloading travel guides and improved functionality.

Youngstown Live’s clean, uncluttered design was part of the Mahoning County Convention & Visitors Bureau’s initiative to be the go-to resource for visitors to Mahoning County, and area residents alike.

“We are ecstatic to have our new site go live,” said Linda Macala, executive director of the Mahoning County Convention & Visitors Bureau. “It’s everything we wanted for our online presence and more. YoungstownLive.com is easy to navigate, it’s fun to look at with great visuals and it’s packed with up-to-date information. Whether you’re planning a visit to the Valley or you’re a local resident looking for special events and area happenings, we’ve put all the essentials literally at your fingertips.”

The website’s design and content is custom, created in conjunction with the creative team at iSynergy, a Youngstown-based digital marketing agency.

“This project was fantastic from start to finish,” said Steve Cross, creative director at iSynergy. “It was a total team effort, made up of over 200 hours and a little less than five months of work.”

Tara Mady, assistant director and digital content manager for the Mahoning County Convention & Visitors Bureau, worked closely with iSynergy to help them understand what was important in developing a tourism-based website.

“Our goal was to provide information on our local attractions, recreation, lodging and dining in a visual and easy to navigate website,” said Mady. “We also integrated our Instagram feed and encourage viewers to share their photos and experiences when they #VisitYoungstown.”
