The drama focuses on 85-year-old Marjorie, who possesses a lifetime’s worth of memories that are fading.
It’s the age of artificial intelligence, and Marjorie has a new companion that is programmed to feed the story of her life back to her. The play asks, “What would we remember, and what would we forget, if given the chance?” It explores the complicated nature of familial relationships, the mysteries of human identity, and the limits – if any – of what technology can replace.
