City Picks 2Deep Entertainment for Downtown Events
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The city of Youngstown has entered a professional services agreement with 2Deep Entertainment to oversee and manage downtown events and special projects, Mayor Jamael Tito Brown announced.
“I’m really excited,” said Terrill Vidale, owner of 2Deep. “I can’t wait to connect with everyone and help enhance events downtown.”
The company will assume the role of the event coordinator position, last held by Michael McGiffin, and will be paid $42,436.58 annually.
Vidale said he’s worked with the city and McGiffin over the past several years to host events and is very familiar with the process.
“The job has not changed,” Vidale said. “What Michael did, I’ll be doing. I’ll handle the permits, the downtown events, do all the paperwork.”
Vidale said he’d like to develop more events for downtown — an area of the city that he’s already invested in. His office operates from a building he owns next to the Covelli Centre along Front Street. “We’d like to create more events and create a culture of excitement within the city. I can’t wait to roll them out.”
2Deep Entertainment, which last year moved its headquarters downtown to 237 E. Front St., is a full-services entertainment agency that oversees production, talent, sound and lighting for shows all across the country.
