Youngstown Tile Remodels Retail Design Center

CANFIELD, Ohio — On July 29, Youngstown Tile & Terrazzo Co. will reopen its newly remodeled retail design center.

A ribbon cutting is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. at 7320 Akron-Canfield Road. The event is open to the public.

During the shutdown because of the coronavirus pandemic, Youngstown Tile was forced to make “dramatic changes” to its business operations, according to a press release, among them limiting its retail design center to phone orders and contactless pick up.

Joshua Cohol, the company’s president, took the opportunity to remodel the showroom, according to the release. The remodel allows for a “bigger and better experience” for customer.

Founded 70 years ago, Youngstown Tile is a commercial contractor that focuses on contract flooring. It opened its retail design center in 2016.
