Youngstown Works Holds Hiring Event; Helps Employers Meet Talent
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Youngstown Works invited employers with job openings to participate in a hiring event at Stambaugh Auditorium on Tuesday.
Industries in attendance included healthcare, education, manufacturing, and public service.
“I think that more and more people after the pandemic are trying to come back into the workforce, but they may not know how,” says Gerri Jenkins, founder of Youngstown Works. “I think that this is a good way for them to meet directly with employers and see if there’s something that they can do.”
