‘Your Money Matters’ Webinar to Focus on Identity Theft
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State Extension will offer a free webinar aimed at helping participants protect their identity.
The “Your Money Matters: Identity Theft” webinar, which is scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Oct. 12, is designed for the public, human services providers and anyone interested in developing a healthier relationship with money, learning about scams and fraud and protecting their financial reputation.
The session can help participants:
- Increase awareness of identity theft prevalence.
- Learn strategies to protect themselves and others.
- Recognize the warning signs of identity theft to reduce the risk of becoming a victim.
- Learn how to recover if personal identity is stolen.
Participants will receive a copy of Penn State Extension’s Build a Budget workbook.
The webinar is free, but participants must register HERE by noon Oct. 11 to receive the link. Registrants also will receive access to the webinar recording.
