YSU Associate Degree in Nursing Program Earns Approval
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Ohio Board of Nursing has approved Youngstown State University’s associate degree in nursing program.
The program in the Centofanti School of Nursing at YSU admitted its first students in fall 2022. The nursing board made an approval visit in March, and the program received notice of full approval that will continue for five years.
According to the Ohio Board of Nursing’s website, the board “regulates nursing education programs in Ohio that prepare students for initial licensure as a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.”
The program’s first students graduated in May.
