YSU Business Students Score High on Microsoft Excel Test

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Youngstown State University students in the Williamson College of Business Administration placed third in the state on the fall 2023 Microsoft Excel Associate certification exam. 

More than 70 WCBA students passed the exam, administered by Certiport.

Students Madison Angelo, Aidan Exline, David Shannon and Jacob Stanko each earned a perfect score of 1,000 points. 

Taylor Berry, Lauren Canter, Katherine Jacobson, Scott Johnson, Aaron Leekins, Nathaniel Huynh, Zachary Shumaker, Cassandra Snopik and Devin Zerjav all scored between 900 and 999.

Leekins, Huynh, Shumaker, Snopik, Stanko and Emily Flannery earned the Microsoft Office Specialist Excel Expert certification.

WCBA students will showcase their Microsoft Office Excel Associate certification by creating and managing worksheets and workbooks, creating cells and ranges, creating tables, applying formulas and functions and creating charts and objects allowing them to progress in their careers.
