YSU Celebrates National Technology Day
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — 80 area high school students attended the Youngstown State University College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics’ first annual National Technology Day Celebration.
YSU staff and local businesses engaged with students who have an interest in information technology to discuss careers and opportunities in the area, says Emilie Brown, coordinator of STEM outreach and scholarships at YSU.
“That’s our goal with all of these events is to get students on campus to learn about the different career paths and also see how they can pursue those through YSU,” Brown said.
