YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — With the spring semester underway, student numbers at Youngstown State University are up again.
Headcount enrollment at YSU is at 11,900, up 0.24% over spring 2018, the university reported this week. Full-time equivalent enrollment increased 0.79%, marking the seventh consecutive semester — fall-to-fall and spring-to-spring — that full-time equivalent enrollment has gone up.
In addition, international student enrollment this spring semester increased by 25 students, or 5.8%, the university said. Among the countries with the largest number of students at YSU include 114 from Saudi Arabia, 75 from Nepal, Kuwait at 54 and India, 34.
