YSU Financial Economics in Top 10 National Ranking
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Youngstown State University’s master of arts program in financial economics ranks No. 8 in the country, according to a new survey released by Financial Engineer.
Financial Engineer’s rankings for 2016 are based on several factors, including scores on graduation admission tests, starting salaries of graduates, undergraduate grade point average, and the employment rate among graduates.
YSU ranks between the University of Colorado-Denver (7) and Southern Illinois University (9) in the study, Financial Engineer reports. Columbia University was ranked first, while Brandies University was ranked second.
Other Ohio schools that were ranked among the Top 15 include Bowling Green State University, which placed sixth, and Ohio University, which was ranked 14th.
