YSU Fountain Area Named Daniel H. Becker Family Fountain Commons
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — The fountain area on the east side of the Kilcawley Center on the campus of Youngstown State University has been named the Daniel H. Becker Family Fountain Commons.
The naming is in recognition of Becker’s $1 million gift to YSU to create the Daniel H. Becker Family Scholarship.
“One of the blessings we have at YSU is our extraordinary Youngstown State Foundation and the scholarships that are provided to the students,” said YSU President Jim Tressel. “I’m hoping that our students and our faculty and our staff take the opportunity when they reflect on this beautiful gathering area, that they reflect on what has made this family so special.”
