YSU Interim President Press Conference; MCCTC $1.1M Energy Training Center Groundbreaking
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Helen K. Lafferty will hold a press conference to discuss her role as interim president of Youngstown State University following President Jim Tressel’s departure on Feb. 1.
Plus, ground will be broken this week for a $1.1 million expansion of the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center. The new facility, referred to as the “Energy Center,” will be an adaptable hub of technological training for MCCTC high school, adult career center and Valley Stem students.
