Jennifer Pintar has been named interim provost. She previously served as vice provost.
Neal McNally, acting YSU president and vice president for finance and business operations, sent an email to campus Monday about the changes.
“During his tenure as provost, Dr. Smith made many positive contributions, and we look forward to his continued leadership as he starts his new position,” the email said.
Pintar “has served in various roles in the Office of Academic Affairs, including as associate provost for academic administration, and most recently as vice provost,” it said.
